After Kota in Rajasthan, and Pune in Maharashtra, most of the IIT aspirants turn to Indore for their studies. Now, they can get admission in Indore too - and this will surely add to the joy of many parents who dont want to send their children away from home. Now, Indore needs to gather a team of intellects, internation level professors for the Mechanical, Civil, IT departments. Also it needs to setup a lab with international standards. After completion of Pithampur Auto testing track, Indore is poised to become an Automobile hub too. According to SGISTS professor Rakesh Khare, IIT in Indore will also be able to help in measuring Earthquakes and to safeguard against them. Both, BJP and Congress is happy with this news. Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan said that its a pride to have IIT and IIM in Indore. It conveys the ability of Indore in the field of Education. Indore City Congress president Pramod Tandon said that this is a very good decision taken by central government. Ashwin Joshi celebrated with fireworks at Rajwada on this occassion.
