Girls of 12 schools in Indore will be trained with new technologies. With the growing commercialization in the city and women’s equal participation in all types of professions it has been imperative that they become equipped with all self defense technologies to protect themselves from all ills, evils and can thwart all anti social threats. The girls in Indore will no longer depend on others mercy for protection. In a joint exercise of Marthoma School and Indore District Shitorio Shikokaido Association, girls from 12 schools in Indore will be trained in self defense technologies. Girls will be taught new techniques of Japani Marshal Art and new Kata.

District secretary and trainer of the Association Vinay Yadav informed that the training program has been started from Marthoma school first. Training will be provided for 20 days in each of 12 schools. Our aim is to make girls capable of self protection. Girls will be trained to tackle with Thieves, Dacoits, Chain Snatchers and teasers as well. This will also promote sports and earn a new identity to M. P. Karate. Joy Wargis, principal of Marthoma school, Indore informed that more than 50 girls are receiving this training.
