Following the Central govt. trend, Madhya Pradesh Government has announced "The Right to Education" program for all Kids in the state.Now, more than 10000000 (1 Crore) children will get the benefit of education till 8th standard without getting failed. Even if they don't perform well in the exams, they won't be failed, but simply given a grade and can move ahead to next class. This Right to education will definitely help school going students in Indore and all over MP. Starting from 1st April 2010, Education will be legally compulsory for everyone between the ages of 6 to 14 years. No students will be failed in the examination till 8th standard.A change in the exam model, and marksheets is underway to successfully execute this program. This law is applicable to both Private and Government schools. Share your views here. Does this new program help students learn more, or it justs tell them not to worry because they will move on anyways? What does the future of these kids look like when they are competing for career training or professional exams?
