In a big successful raid, Indore police has seized 55 bikes, stolen from Indore, from a gang in Dewas. The police claims it to be the largest case in the state where in a police station has exposed this big a theft. The seized vehicles are estimated to be worth Rs.30 Lakhs. Police has arrested 8 members of the gang. Indore ASP Mr. Vipin Maheshwri informed that three of these members would steal the bikes while other five would sell them in their respective areas. The three thieves would come to Indore and make away with bikes. Most of the bikes were stolen from Khajrana police station territory. The burglars would look for the bikes with bad locks. Juni Indore Police, on Tuesday, has exposed this big vehicle thieves’ gang and nabbed 8 of its members. Total 55 bikes, worth Rs.30 lakhs, have been seized. The gang has accepted 60 bike thefts in the city. CSP Bittu Sahgal informed that one of the team member Madan was arrested with a stolen bike on 30th of September, and on his information only, other thieves have been arrested.
