Thieves have taken their toll at a teacher’s house. The thieves had broken into the house of Virendra Omprakash Mishra in Nalanda Parisar and took away with gold, silver and cash, all worth to Rs.5 Lakhs approx. The victim’s father is a Cashier in a bank. He, with his family, had left the house at 12 to attend a function at their maternal uncle’s house in Nanda Nagar, Indore. He was left stunned when he found the lock undone on his return, that was at 2.45pm. He entered the house only to learn that lockers of both the iron cupboards were lying open and everything was scattered here and there. An FIR was lodged with Rajendra Nagar police station.

In other similar incidents thieves have broken into GM’s cabin in Abhikaran Honda showroom at AB Road. Sixty-six thousand rupees have ben stolen from the house of Haji Ahmed in Rajiv Nagar. Thieves also made away with goods worth 25 thousands from the house of Rahul Kumar at Sanchar Nagar Extension and goods worth 20 thousand from the house of Suchita Hemant Lahant at Vijay Nagar.
